Splankna

Splankna is a faith-based mind-body approach for inner healing. It helps release what the body and mind have been holding, creating space for healing, clarity, and restoration.

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”

— C.S. Lewis

What is Splankna?

A gentle, whole-person approach to healing

Splankna is a biblically-based, mind-body method for inner healing.

The body holds emotions like frequencies. Splankna clears trauma emotions out of the body with the combination of touch and thought. Then it helps people identify the destructive lies and vows associated with traumas and clear them out in prayer.

Splankna is an integrative approach that attends to the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person at the same time. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or stories, it creates space for healing at deeper levels—often where words alone have not been enough.

This work honors the wisdom of the body and the ways it holds experiences, stress, and pain. When care is given to the body, the heart, and the inner life together, change often feels less forced and more natural—unfolding with clarity, relief, and a renewed sense of peace.

For those who have tried everything

Many people come to Splankna after years of searching. You or someone you love may have tried counseling, medical care, prayer, or other forms of support—only to find that the pain remains or keeps returning.

You may still be hurting, unsure why healing hasn’t come, or quietly carrying a sense of discouragement or self-blame. If any of this feels familiar, you are not alone—and you are not broken.

Splankna offers a different kind of space. One that is patient, respectful, and attentive to what your system needs in this moment. There is no pressure to relive trauma or “push through.” Healing is approached with gentleness and care, at a pace that feels safe.

And there is hope.

A supportive path for both healing and helping

Splankna is used both by individuals seeking healing and by those who serve others in helping roles. Some come longing for freedom in their own lives; others are looking to support people more effectively and compassionately.

Rather than striving for quick fixes or dramatic outcomes, this work emphasizes restoration, regulation, and wholeness. It invites people to move beyond simply managing symptoms and toward experiencing greater ease, connection, and vitality over time.

Honoring the body’s design

Splankna respects the intricate connection between mind, body, and spirit. It works with the body’s natural responses and capacities, allowing unresolved stress and emotional pain to release without force or overwhelm.

This approach is offered with humility and care, grounded in the belief that healing is not something we manufacture—but something we create space for.

FAQs

Do I need to be Christian to participate in Splankna?

You do not need to be Christian to participate in Splankna. Sessions are open to individuals from all backgrounds, and your personal beliefs and values are always respected.

Splankna is a faith-informed approach that includes prayer led by the practitioner. Clients are never asked to perform religious acts or hold specific beliefs. The focus of the work is helping identify and release deeply held beliefs or emotional patterns that no longer serve you, in a way that feels safe and supportive.

We’ve experienced most people are willing to be prayed for.

What during and after a Splankna session?

Sessions are gentle, client-led, and paced according to your comfort. Many clients experience increased clarity, emotional release, or a sense of relief during or after a session. It’s also common to feel physically tired afterward, as the nervous system has been doing meaningful work.

Some clients report finding a sense of freedom from trauma or abuse-related patterns in ways they were not able to access through other approaches alone. Responses vary from person to person, and there is no “right” experience. Rest, hydration, and gentle self-care after a session are often helpful.

Will I be asked to relieve my trauma during a session?

Clients are never pushed to relive traumatic experiences. The work is paced gently and focuses on processing what is present in a way that feels safe and respectful.

Is Splankna therapy or counseling?

Splankna is not talk therapy, though it may complement counseling or therapy. While sessions are not discussion-based, the practitioner is available to help the client make sense of what arises and provide support as needed.

Is Splankna hypnosis or mind control?

No. Splankna does not involve hypnosis, mind control, or altered states of consciousness. Clients remain fully present, aware, and in control throughout the session. The work is collaborative, consent-based, and guided by the client’s responses and comfort.

What kinds of issues can Splankna help with?

Clients often seek Splankna support for stress, anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief, loss, and experiences of abuse. It may also be helpful for emotional triggers, feeling “stuck” despite insight or effort, challenges with emotional regulation, and spiritual or ministry-related wounds.

In some cases, the work can support clients in moving through emotional or developmental stages that may have been disrupted or overlooked earlier in life, allowing for greater integration and maturity in the present.

What if I disagree theologically with the practitioner?

That’s okay. Clients are never expected to agree with the practitioner’s beliefs or perspectives. Sessions are guided by the client’s values, goals, and comfort, and theological agreement is not required. The focus remains on the client’s healing and growth, not on shared belief.

How many Splankna sessions will I need?

There is no required number of sessions. Some clients notice shifts in one or two sessions, while others choose ongoing work depending on their goals and needs.
